The B&G on 7 in Ridgefield

The Danbury Whalers are proud to announce the next event on the Danbury Whalers Fan Caravan will be on Thursday, M ay 27^th from 7-9 pm at the Bar & Grille on 7 in Ridgefield. Located on 967 Ethan Allen Highway, the Bar & Grille on 7 is owned and operated by Tony & Kristina Wilmot.

Fans will be treated to complimentary menu items throughout the evening. In addition, the Whalers will purchase your first beverage of choice. The event is open to Whalers fans of all ages. Please RSVP to danburywhalers@aol.com to confirm your spot.

The highlight of the night will be the first qualifying round of the Danbury Whalers Model Search. The DWMS is open to both male and female contestants over 18 years of age. Participants must reserve their space in the competition prior to the event. There is not an entry fee to compete. The final round of completion will be held on the Opening Night for the Danbury Whalers in October 2010. The winner of the May event will secure a spot in the Finals. The winner of the contest will win a $500 modeling contract from the Danbury Whalers.

The Bar & Grille on 7 features an outstanding menu, an award winning wine list, a sandwich called “The Whaler”, and 11 flat screen televisions. Danbury Whalers Head Coach, Chris Firriolo commented, “Once I had the lobster sliders there I knew our next event was going to be at the B&G on 7. They were awesome.”

The Danbury Whalers team officially launched on December 29, 2009 in a press conference at the Danbury Ice Arena. Danbury fans can lock in a $350 season ticket by placing a $50 REFUNDABLE deposit.

Actual seat selections will take place at the Danbury Whalers tryout camp in June. Fans are currently being placed into a selection priority order list.
